PHASES OF AN ENVIRONMENTAL SITE ASSESMENT
PRELIMINARY ASSESSMENT
HISTORIC REVIEW
Comprehensive analysis of historical records, including aerial photographs, land use records, and topographical maps, to understand past uses of the site which might have contributed to contamination.
SITE INSPECTION
A thorough on-site inspection to visually assess current conditions and identify signs of potential contamination, such as stained soil or distressed vegetation.
REPORT AND RECCOMMENDATIONS
The Phase 1 ESA culminates in a detailed report outlining potential environmental risks and determining if further investigation (Phase 2) is needed.

DETAILED INVESTIGATION
If Phase 1 reveals any potentially contaminating activity, we will then test the site to confirm the location and concentration. The site condition will then determine if you will need to remediate the site in Phase 3.
SAMPLING AND ANALYSIS
Collection of soil and/or water samples for laboratory analysis to precisely identify contaminants and their concentrations.
GEOPHYSICAL TESTING
Employing advanced techniques to detect any subsurface hazards.
RISK ASSESSMENT
Evaluating the potential risk to human health and the environment based on the types and concentrations of contaminants found.
DETAILED REPORT
Providing a comprehensive report that includes all findings, interpretations, and recommendations for remediation or further action if required.
PHASE 3 ESA
REMEDIATION AND MANAGEMENT
REMEDIATION PLANNING
Developing a tailored plan to clean up identified contaminants, which may include physical removal, containment, or natural attenuation strategies.
REGULATORY LIASON
Coordinating with environmental regulatory agencies to ensure the remediation plan complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
IMPLEMENTATION AND OVERSIGHT
Overseeing the remediation process to ensure it is carried out effectively, safely, and within the stipulated timelines.
FINAL REPORTING
Providing a final report upon completion of the remediation, detailing the actions taken, confirming the removal or containment of contaminants, and ensuring the site is suitable for its intended future use.
