Melony Catana, AScT

Melony Catana is the Environmental Practice Lead, providing senior technical oversight for environmental services delivered. Melony is a registered Applied Science Technologist with over 20 years of consulting experience supporting infrastructure and
environmental management projects throughout British Columbia.

Melony specializes in environmental management, permitting, regulatory liaison, and habitat mitigation and compensation design for projects involving dams, bridges, culverts, pipelines, and flood mitigation infrastructure. She has extensive experience preparing Environmental Management Plans, coordinating approvals under the Water Sustainability Act and Fisheries Act, and implementing fish and wildlife salvage programs. As Discipline Lead, Melony will coordinate environmental services and work closely with project engineers, contractors, regulators, and Indigenous communities to ensure environmental requirements are effectively integrated into project planning and construction.
