Arash Yazdani is the driving force behind PRI Engineering. Alongside his relentless passion for geotechnical engineering, Arash brings both a wealth of experience and the commitment to excellence, mentoring and life-long learning to his role as the company’s Chief Technical Officer of Engineering Services. He is a designated professional engineer and has been working in the field of geotechnical engineering for over ten years specializing in solar foundation design. Licensed as an engineer in the provinces of Ontario, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, Yukon Territories, Nunavut/Northwest Territories and British Columbia. Yazdani has been involved in the geotechnical investigation and foundation design of 100’s of solar farms across Canada, the United States and the Caribbean, in addition to geotechnical investigations for municipal infrastructure, airports, and roadways.
He has acted in a variety of roles include the engineer of record, owners engineer, quality assurance and quality control. In addition to geotechnical investigations, Yazdani recently taught courses at Fleming College and is the primary author of geotechnical investigations articles and has completed peer review for other academic work in his field.
